About Afro Elevation Collective

Afro Elevation Collective is a leading provider of Afro hair training in the UK, delivering specialist education for barbers, hairdressers, educators, and TV & film professionals who want to confidently work with textured hair at a high level.

FOUNDER

Founded & Developed by Grand Master Barber MK, with over 30 years of industry experience across salon, education, and TV/film, Afro Elevation Collective was created alongside Jaqueline Henry in support of Salon International 2025 to close the gap in professional training around Afro and textured hair. Many professionals are highly skilled in European hair but lack the confidence, understanding, and technical foundation required to work safely and effectively with Afro hair textures.
